Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Nurse Jones Academy ("NJA," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

2. Adult users only

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use NJA. We do not knowingly permit accounts for minors.

3. Educational purpose

NJA provides independent educational content, practice activities, study tools, and games. NJA is not a nursing school, licensing authority, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional instruction, clinical judgment, or medical advice. We do not guarantee examination passage, grades, licensure, employment, clinical competency, or any other outcome.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Accounts and memberships may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

5. Memberships, billing, and renewal

Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown before checkout. Recurring memberships renew automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. You authorize our payment processor to charge the payment method on file. Cancellation ordinarily prevents future renewal and leaves access available through the paid period unless a refund, dispute, reversal, safety concern, or other stated exception requires earlier termination.

The Founding Student registration is a one-time registration and does not include Premium access or full Pharm Battle access. XP, scores, badges, mastery achievements, and completion recognition are earned through study and performance and cannot be purchased.

6. Refunds and payment disputes

Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy. A chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, failed payment, or refund may cause immediate suspension or termination of paid access while the payment status is reviewed or resolved.

7. Acceptable use

You may use NJA only for lawful, personal educational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, misuse assessment content, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, or use NJA to violate another person's rights.

8. Intellectual property

NJA and its content, branding, software, questions, rationales, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Nurse Jones Academy and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the service while your account is eligible.

9. Service changes and availability

Features and content may be added, changed, suspended, or retired. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms, nonpayment, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, or conduct that harms NJA or its users.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NJA is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurse Jones Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that may be brought in court must be brought in a state or federal court located in Mississippi, and you consent to that court's jurisdiction and venue. This section does not limit any non-waivable consumer right or other protection that applies under mandatory law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email. Questions may be sent to support@nursejonesacademy.com.
