This Privacy Policy explains how Nurse Jones Academy ("NJA," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and educational services. NJA is intended only for adults age 18 and older.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, display name, email address, authentication information, account status, and preferences.
• Membership and transaction information: selected plan, billing status, transaction identifiers, subscription dates, refunds, and disputes. Stripe processes payment-card details; NJA does not store your complete card number.
• Learning activity: course activity, answers, scores, XP, levels, streaks, badges, mastery information, and completion history.
• Technical information: device, browser, IP address, timestamps, session information, diagnostic logs, and interactions with the service.
• Communications: messages and information you provide when contacting support or responding to surveys.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide memberships and learning features; process and reconcile payments; personalize progress; communicate about service and support matters; prevent fraud and misuse; troubleshoot and improve NJA; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.

4. How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help operate NJA, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments and billing, Vercel for application hosting, Cloudflare for domain and email-routing services, and email providers used for account and support communications. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and sessions

NJA uses cookies and similar technologies needed for sign-in, security, preferences, checkout, and site operation. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain learning and transaction records, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect NJA. Retention periods vary by the type of information and applicable requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You may update certain account information through NJA. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. United States processing

NJA operates in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
